The American TV network expands it’s print press kits to the digital space with Adobe DPS.

To promote their original programming, Showtime created highly-produced print press kits for their top press targets. The quality of these kits limited their reach, so the network sought to create them in an easily-shareable app with comparable wow-factors. They wanted to see how Adobe DPS could help them achieve this goal.

Bring the experience of premium print press kits to a mobile app


Aware of our experience with Adobe DPS and recognizing the quality of our app designs, Showtime asked us to develop a proof-of-concept for their show, Nurse Jackie.  Working with the InDesign assets they used for the print kits, we were able to develop a powerful and convincing Adobe DPS concept app for the show. We incorporated HTML animations, inline video, and interactive effects into the concept, and designed native versions of the app for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices so that the experience would be great on every platform.

Our app concept for the Nurse Jackie motivated Showtime Networks to purchase Adobe DPS and incorporate it into their workflow for developing their digital press kit apps. Their dynamic apps are now available to select press for their original programming, including Homeland, Penny Dreadful, House of Lies, Ray Donovan, The Affair, Shameless, Billions, and Roadies. 

Showtime develops Adobe DPS press kits for all of their original series.
